September was the month of Kosovo Youth in Action against Discrimination! Starting with the 5th of September, all the way till the end of the month, GAIA organized 6 local weekend workshops in Plemetina, Grachanica and Prishtina and gathered around 60 young people addressing the discrimination related issues through series of educational games and discussions and later on producing educational stop-motion movies, tackling the problems of stereotypes, prejudices and discrimination.
The workshops in each of above mentioned places were done in two phases, realized during two weekends:
‘’Meet me’’ weekend workshop during which participants got introduced stereotypes, prejudices and discrimination, explored how they interact & function in relation to one another and discussed different courses of positive actions against discrimination and various ways of their realizations.
Stop- Motion against discrimination weekend workshop where participants, following the idea of positive actions, got introduced with the concrete tool to be used for spreading the messages against discrimination – creative stop-motion movie making!
The movies are about to be published and till then, enjoy the parts of GAIA September’s Youth Actions:
