BRICK FACTORY / CIGLLANA / PRISHTINA
From 6th until 9th of September we will be hosting another creative workshop at the Brick Factory in Prishtina as part of Manifesta14.
During this workshop, participants will have an opportunity to learn how to build traditional bread/pizza oven using bricks, clay and sand. Participants will be introduced to the process of construction from foundation until cob layer.
So, if you are interested into:
- traditional building and crafts
- working with natural materials
- team work
- and getting your hands dirty 🙂

The facilitator of the workshop will be Dejan Spasovic, who is a sculptor and has been practicing natural building since 15 years ago. He is a member of the European natural builders network, and has established the natural building academy in North Macedonia. He is also an educator for traditional crafts in North Macedonia and Serbia.Â
The workshop will take place at the Brick Factory, around 6 hours of work divided into 4 sessions, with coffee/tea breaks and lunch break in the middle. Participants are expected to take part in all the whole workshop. there are no age restrictions or special requirements for participation.
The sessions will be held in English language.
