The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) is a program that enables organizations or public entities to host volunteers from European countries and send local volunteers abroad. The program allows young people to volunteer in social initiatives while benefiting the community, the volunteers themselves, and the organizations involved. A prerequisite to joining the program is obtaining the Quality Label, an application form that testifies to an organization’s capacity to coordinate the hosting and sending of volunteers through the program.
Through this workshop, we aim to equip potential applicants with an introduction to the important aspects of the ESC program and Quality Label application process. Participants will learn practical insight, and tips and tricks on preparing a successful Quality Label application form.
What is the workshop about?
This workshop provides an in-depth understanding of the process of obtaining ESC Quality Label and guidance on developing the application form. Through interactive sessions and presentations, participants will:
- Understand the Quality Label process, eligibility criteria, and application requirements.
- Explore the different roles within ESC projects (hosting, supporting, and lead organizations).
- Learn how to structure quality volunteering projects that align with ESC values.
- Gain knowledge on financial aspects, practical arrangements, and volunteer support measures.
Who is this for?
This workshop is designed for representatives of organizations interested in joining the ESC program.
